Apprentice Electrician

WLE Electrical are delighted to be recruiting Apprentice Electricians to join our company on a permanent basis. The roles are based in Greenock and surrounding areas. Working as part of a small team, the successful applicant will need to bring a willingness to learn, develop and be solutions minded.

**As the Apprentice Electrician your key responsibilities will include**:

- Learning from and assisting electricians with different duties.
- Assisting with the repair of electrical problems.
- Assembling and installing electrical circuits.
- Working with panels, conduit, protective devices and switches.
- Calibrating, maintaining, or installing equipment and related devices
- Completing electrical installations and carrying out various maintenance duties.
- Updating work logs.
- Traveling to client sites.
- Communicating with clients in a professional manner.

**Qualifications Required**
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including the skill of listening and following both simple and complex instructions.
- College attendance on a block release basis is an integral part of electrical apprenticeship.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £5.28 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Greenock, Inverclyde: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- electrical: 1 year (preferred)
