**Pay Rates**: £11.45 to £20.95

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Ability to challenge poor behaviour

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English in both verbal and written formats Ability to work without direct supervision
- Able to communicate with all age groups

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

**You’ll have the following qualification/experience**:
**Essentials: -**
- Experience of working in a Mental Health or Learning Disabilities environment
- Previous NHS Experience

**Qualifications: -**
- Level 3 qualification (e.g., A-level, NVQ3) in Care or
- Level 2 qualification (e.g., GCSE, NVQ2) in care and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 3 qualification on appointment to post
- Will be expected to meet the Care Certificate standards within 12 weeks of commencing employment with the Trust

**Knowledge: -**
- Knowledge of Service Users physical/emotional needs
- IT Literate
- Understanding of promotion of independent living
- Understanding the principles of Service Users with complex needs/ challenging behaviour
- Understanding of TeamworK
- MAPA or Safety Intervention training Advanced and Emergency desirable

*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.

- Home care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
