**Job overview**:
At Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust we have an exciting opportunity for an 18-month fixed term full-time training post in Echocardiography, commencing on 07th of October 2024. This is part of the Echocardiography Training Programme developed by the National School of Healthcare Science and funded by Health Education England.

Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust Hospital is a leading University Hospital and is committed to developing the future workforce for Cardiac Physiologist/Healthcare Scientists, having successfully trained 2 ETP trainees in the last 3 years.

**Main duties of the job**:
Our department which is spread across 2 sites offers a full range of non-invasive cardiac investigations such as ECG, ambulatory ECG and BP monitoring, non-medically supervised exercise tolerance tests, Echo and head up tilt testing. We also offer diagnostic coronary angiography, percutaneous interventions for the treatment of coronary disease, device implants and electrophysiology studies in our brand new cath lab on the Epsom site.

We are a BSE accredited department and offer a full echo service including routine transthoracic studies, contrast, 3D, transoesophageal echo and stress echo (both Dobutamine and Exercise) and physiologist led valve clinic. We have an excellent reputation for training to BSE standard.
