We require a **Pharmacy** **Shop Counter Assistant**

Days: Monday to Saturday

Hours: 11-6 (flexible)

Working Saturdays (9-1) will be required for the job role.

We are looking for someone who has previous experience and are used to working in a fast paced environment.

**Duties**:

- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Maintain proper storage and inventory of medications
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
- Provide information and advice to patients regarding medication usage and potential side effects
- Process insurance claims and handle billing procedures
- Maintain patient records and confidential information

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
- Proven experience working in a pharmacy setting
- Strong knowledge of medication names, dosages, and interactions
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and prescription processing
