POSITION DESCRIPTION

At **Pasquill, **we are looking for **Junior Structural Designer **to join our team in** Oldbury Birmingham. **This is an entry level role, working in our design team to provide an excellent service to our customers.

This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in design or the construction industry who is looking to develop a career. You will receive a structured develop plan as well as lots of support from the rest of the team.

**Pasquill** is one of 30 Saint-Gobain brand’s and are the largest supplier of **Roof Truss and Timber engineered construction products **in the UK.

This is a full time permanent role working Monday to Friday

**What we’re looking for**:

- Desire to build a design career in timber engineering.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work as part of a team but also able to work alone.
- Be able to demonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Some basic design or CAD skills would be advantageous.

**What you will be doing**:

- Produce high quality timber design solutions for customers using specialist CAD software.
- Produce quotations for potential customer orders.
- Create orders to put onto the system.
- Carry out pre-quote calls to discuss the customer’s requirements and produce the quote.
- Carry out post-quote calls to check quotes.
- Keep the customer informed of all updates concerning the order.
- Identify opportunities to maximise customer service and translate into sales.
