**Payroll Administrator**

Northumbria Payroll Solutions is a growing, dynamic company located on the outskirts of Morpeth. We are currently seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team.

**Key Accountabilities will include**:

- Process of small and medium payrolls
- Provide quality customer service to the clients through the delivery of a professional and accurate payroll procedures.
- Answering queries about salaries, deductions etc
- Processing permanent and variable elements.
- Processing sickness and other absences in line with company policies and statutory entitlement.
- Assist with issuing P45s and other necessary tax forms and the submission of the RTI reports to HMRC each month.
- Processing of tax year end and annual reporting including P11Ds.
- Liaising with the tax office in relation to any discrepancies on the PAYE account.
- Be responsible for the preparation, distribution and HR & Payroll system updates for new employee contracts, contractual amends and leaver processes.
- General admin duties.
- Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
- Previous experience in payroll administration or a similar role is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy whilst completing all payroll and administrative tasks.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Be customer focussed and have a positive can-do attitude.
- Be a team player.
- Good timekeeper.
- Be inquisitive and proactive in supporting continuous improvement.
- Ability to prioritise your workload and work towards set deadlines as part of a team.

**Hours & Salary**:

- Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4pm
- Negotiable depending on previous experience.

From October 2023 we will be relocating offices to Ashington, Northumberland.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Administrative: 1 year (preferred)
