In response to our clients' growing recruitment demands we have an opportunity based in our Maidstone, Kent offices (Turkey Mill) for a Recruitment/Resourcing Consultant.

**Recruitment experience is not required but you do need to be personable, professional, have a good telephone manner and a high standard of written English.**

Welcome to Vella Recruitment We are currently a team of 4, with ambitious plans to grow. Vella is a bespoke recruitment agency dedicated to the Built Environment sector. We specialise in Town Planning, Economics, Environmental, Heritage, Architecture and the Urban Design markets.

Based in Turkey Mill Business Park, our new office offers plenty of light, spacious room for our planned growth in a stunning converted Paper Mill in Maidstone, Kent, directly behind Mote Park. We have private gardens, a coffee shop, our own allocated parking spaces and are strategically located to serve both our team and our clients.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

As a Consultant at Vella your primary roles and responsibilities will be:

- Building a strong understanding of the market, being able to speak about relevant industry news and events;
- Maintaining a social media and Linkedin presence to push forward both your own, and Vella’s profile online;
- Managing a dynamic workload. We have opportunities across different sectors so the ability to effectively juggle and maintain a high standard of work across them at all times is required;
- UK and Ireland geography skills. Knowing what distances are commutable or which areas to target and navigating your search accordingly;

**Benefits Package**
- Consultant position (we offer a fixed, transparent promotion, pay and commission structure)
- £20,000 basic salary (realistic 1st year OTE: £35,000)
- 37.5 hours a week (with flexible arrangement options)
- Uncapped commission structure
- Annual discretionary bonus
- Flexible start time (between 8-10am) so your role works for you
- 20 days a year annual leave, a 2-week holiday shut down period at Christmas, as well as Bank holidays off too Extra holiday bonus days are often given as a reward too.

- Staff socials, away days, loyalty rewards

**Salary**: £20,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ashford, ME14 5PP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Recruiting: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
