**The role**

In this role you will focus on:
Project Support
- Monitoring project work packages and associated deliverables.
- Provide engineering assistance to the overall project teams as appropriate, including support of technical meetings, factory acceptance testing, commissioning and service.
- Document production, tracking and management.
- Producing system or equipment designs, specifications and documentation for products or systems.
- Issue resolution.
- Support attainment of on-time delivery, cost and quality targets.

Technical support to engineering, tendering, test and commissioning teams
- Support the production and reviews of technical drawings, specifications, study documents and electrical schematics for technical compliance and functionality.
- Provide support to technical design studies, analysis, reviews, functional design specifications, and power system studies.

Compliance
- Help to ensure equipment and/or system designs comply with the relevant, applicable international standards, or where specified class society rules.

**The programme**

The Electro-Mechanical Apprentice programme is 5 years long and, on successful completion, you will be awarded a BSc (Honours) degree. It consists of a combination of off-the-job training.

**Off-the-job training**

Off-the-job training is delivered through a combination of face-to-face teaching, online learning and work-based projects.

You will attend Warwick for six teaching blocks (usually one or two weeks) during each year. This gives you the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the university experience, learning alongside peers from a range of sectors and organisations.

**On-the-job training**

During the duration of the programme, you will be fully integrated in the teams, working on real projects and creating value from day one.
