Do you have proven retail experience with excellent customer care skills? If so, come and join our dedicated team at our Dingwall shop.

Knowledge of current fashion and quality clothing, footwear, bric-a-brac, and furniture is an advantage.

These positions are both for 22.5 hours over 3 days per week between Monday and Saturday.

The main tasks, duties and responsibilities of these posts are:

- **Job-Related**
- Demonstrating excellent customer service seeking to satisfy their requirements and promote good practice within the shop.
- Taking responsibility for opening and closing the shop when required by the manager
- Taking responsibility for cashing-up and banking daily takings when requested by the manager
- Keeping stock to the optimum level
- Maintaining quality to the agreed high standard and safety level
- Managing the processing, pricing and sale of goods in shops
- Promote and manage as required responsibilities in connection with Gift Aid on donated items
- Seeking ways to improve shop's performance on a continuous basis
- Maintaining security on the premises
- Minimising waste, where possible returning goods to the shop's parent depot for further reuse or recycling, includes management of skip hire as required
- Ensuring any authorised fundraising campaigns in the shop are given the profile required.

**Staff Related**
- Working within the guidelines of the procedures manual
- Motivating and encouraging staff and volunteers when in charge of the shop

**Standard**
- Maintaining Health and Safety regulations and, by the Organisation's Health and Safety policy, ensuring that the area is safe for yourself, for other workers and customers in the shop
- Suggesting ways to improve the Health and Safety, or quality of work with which you are involved
- Reporting problems, issues, accidents or incidents to your Manager
- Identifying training needs for self and colleagues and volunteers

**EXPERIENCE**

Proven retail experience

Experience of display and merchandising

Experience of working with volunteers
