**Primary School Teaching Assistant**

A Primary School in Cheltenham are in need of a general Teaching Assistant to work in their KS1 class. This role is needed ASAP and will run until the end of the academic year. This role will be on a part time basis, totalling to 17.5 hours per week, and this will be split across mornings Monday-Friday. The role will involve some work with SEN, and supporting students who need extra support, but will not be in a 1:1 capacity.

The school is an inclusive school which has a caring ethos. Pupils value the support they receive to help them learn and flourish. They enjoy coming to this school and attend regularly. The school need someone with high expectations who will strive to uphold the school’s values and take pride in the school. Previous experience is beneficial.

What will you do on a daily basis?
- Supporting the teacher with the whole class;
- Working with children with additional needs/ an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
- Leading small group or individual intervention within or outside the classroom.
- Manage behaviors effectively
