Job Title: Steel Fixer

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom

**Salary**: £21-£22 an hour

CIS Paid

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications - Cut and bend steel bars to specific shapes using manual and power tools - Install and position reinforcing steel bars or mesh in concrete forms to provide a framework for concrete placement - Place and secure steel bars or mesh in concrete using wire, clips, or other fasteners - Use measuring tools such as spirit levels, tape measures, and laser levels to ensure accuracy and compliance with engineering drawings and specifications - Repair or replace damaged steel bars or mesh as needed - Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Steel Fixer on various types of construction projects - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications - Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team - Physical fitness and manual dexterity - A strong commitment to health and safety - Valid CSCS card

**Salary**: £22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- Steel Fixer: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS Card (required)
