Step Forward Tuition are recruiting a part time tutor to work in our growing tuition business. These positions will start as soon as possible.

You will tutor GCSE students in year 10 & 11 in Science. These positions will be based at our Tuition Centre in Whitefield.

Key responsibilities and duties:

- Provide one-to-one and group tuition (maximum 8 students) between the hours of 3.30 pm to 8.30 pm Monday to Thursday (hours are flexible and can be worked around your commitments).
- Tailor lesson content according to the individual pupil's needs, following a specific lesson plan.
- Attend meetings when required.
- Keep detailed records of pupil's lessons and progress.
- Provide parents with feedback on the progress of their children.
- Have degree level education.
- Have Science GCSE qualifications of level A-C.
- Be able to communicate with clear and fluent speech.
- Dress smartly when teaching and maintain a tidy working environment.
- Be punctual.
- Be able to teach the course material.

Preferred (but not essential):

- Some teaching experience.
- Experience working with children.

Please note that this role will require that you become registered as self-employed.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £17.50-£35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 18 per week
