We have a fantastic opportunity for an organised and knowledgeable Depot Supervisor to join our team based in Exeter.

As a successful Depot Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the management of the logistics functions within a team environment and ensuring that all Operation and Health and Safety procedures are adhered to at all times. You will be a positive team player and be confident in driving if required also.
Main responsibilities of a Depot Supervisor: Work and manage all colleagues to comply with standard operating procedures in line with company policies, achieving company and absence management KPI’s and building the right ‘can do’ depot culture Planning of driver's routes in line with the Working Time Directive - sourcing staff from 3rd party agencies ensuring these are planned and managed in line with flex in volume and budgeted costs Deal with outbound vehicles following the correct company procedure Ensure vehicles are loaded on time in a safe, presentable manner Ensure all vehicles have relevant handling equipment, straps, and blankets for delivery crews Maintain the depot at all times to acceptable standards of housekeeping and lead by example to a high level of Health & Safety awareness/compliance and action any areas of concern Manage and develop the team whilst promoting improvement initiatives
**Salary**: £23,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- EXETER: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
