We are looking for a sports coach apprentice who would like to develop a career in teaching and supporting in delivery of physical education and wrap around care whilst completing a level 4 qualification in sports coaching with PEAK apprenticeships. This role is to work across 4 schools in Blyth and our holiday camps across the North East so a driving licence is desirable.

**Key person responsibilities**:
To help ensure each child feels safe and secure

Observes each child and shapes their learning experience to reflect their observations

Helping out with activities with the children

Setting up activities and clearing them away

Ensuring that the environment is kept clean and tidy

Helping out at meal times

Greeting parents and children

Ensuring any relevant paperwork is completed

Work with children, individually and in groups to assist and improve their development

Support and delivery of physical education

Attend training sessions and meetings relevant to the post

Other general duties as and when required

Desired Qualifications: GCSE maths and English at grades 4/C or above or equivalent

**Hours: Min 30 hour week. Hours could be between 8:30-6pm. Expect to be working until 6pm every night to cover wrap around care.**

**Duration: 21months**

**Start date: ASAP**

**Apprenticeship time: 6 hours per week. Fortnightly training either online or in your workplace.**

**Starting wage: £5.28 per hour**
