Vending Operator

**Job description**

Excel Vending are Scotland’s Leading Independent Vending Operator. We have been voted UK Vending Operator of the Year and Regional Vending Operator of the Year. Our talented & committed team of Operators are critical to that continued success. We now require a additional vending operator to cover weekend requirements.

**Rates of Pay**

Excel Vending is an accredited Living Wage employer. So therefore offer the best rates of pay in the industry. The role is based from home therefore route is scheduled from your home not first site. Salary is £25,506. The role is based on 6am to 3.30pm per day and £10.90.
There are opportunities for overtime.

**What does the day look like?**

You will be responsible for attending client sites, collecting readings, merchandising/refilling (including managing stock rotation within vending machine) and cashing. This involves lifting of stock from van to vending machine. Skills that would be beneficial are:

- _Stock Handling_
- _Strong communication skills_
- _Numeracy_
- _Merchandising or Retail experience_
- _Customer-focused, action-orientated problem-solving skills_
- _Route planning_
- We must stress this role is not predominately driving, it is to restock machines to service our clients and the weight of products can be heavy._

**Do I need to have prior vending experience?**

No, we will provide training however experience in driving a transit style van.

**Required Qualifications**
- UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years
- Disclosure Scotland

Please note that this is a home based role therefore you will be required to have somewhere to park the van overnight.
- **The role is being offered to cover clients who require weekend restocking therefore it is expected that you would work one of the following shift patterns**:_
- _**Thursday to Monday (5 days)**_
- _**Tues-Saturday (5 days)**_
- _**Sunday to Thursday (5 days)**_
