Weekend and week day Cook / Assistant.
Working in a small busy coffee shop environment, open 7 days a week, 8.30 am - 4.00 pm Previous experience essential. Up to 70 to 120 lunch covers per day during busy periods. Morning coffees and breakfast, afternoon coffees and teas.
As cook on a Sunday or alternate week end day ,preparing Sunday brunch and light lunches. [Baking scones, making soups and home baking through out the day.]
Week days arranged to suit the successful applicant.
Sometimes as assistant to the cook in the early stages of employment, preparing fillings and salads for the lunch period, making breakfasts, dish of the day, quiches and puddings.
Liaising with other cook on items to be ordered and produced.
During the working day, there will be the helping with morning coffees etc if required, and the serving of lunches into the coffee shop.
An all rounder. Working as part of a small team where every one does there bit. You must have a pleasant outgoing personality as dealing with the public is a vital part of your day. Also creativity in the kitchen would be looked upon favourably.
Option 1. 30 hour minimum per week over 4 days, holiday cover available also would be an expected extra.
