Are you an experienced **Avionic Mechanic **looking for a new opportunity?

JMC Aviation is working with a leading MRO Organisation based in **Prestwick**, looking to recruit an **Avionic Mechanic **to join their expanding team.

The **Avionic Mechanic **will be responsible for managing, receiving, issuing of aircraft components and associated material to meet engineering requirements. This rota for this role is **5/5/4 day shift pattern, 7am - 7pm**.

**The responsibilities of the Avionic Mechanic will involve**:

- Completing routine and non-routine maintenance tasks as directed using the latest approved documentation and procedures.
- Observing and adhering to the company Tooling Policy at all times.
- Maintaining awareness and ensuring best practises are observed for Health and Safety and Human Factors.
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed to the required standards.
- Ensuring that you keep your personal work area, hangar bays and facility clean and tidy at all times.
- Notifying the company of any significant findings as soon as possible. Raise a safety report on identifying any hazard or the following of an incident.

**In order to be successful in this role, the Avionic Mechanic will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes**:

- Hold the right to work in the UK - proof is required as part of our shortlisting process
- A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar.
- Have extensive knowledge of Base Maintenance activities with hands on working experience
- Good standard of written/ spoken English including the ability to interact at a technical level
- Good Computer literacy with experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word, excel etc

Pay: £40,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
