**Leeson House Activity Centre**

**Full Time, Permanent**

**£24,702 - £27,334**

You'll be joining a dedicated team of 21 staff, striving to make memorable and meaningful outdoor education experiences for children. Leeson House welcomes more than 200 schools per year, over 180 as residential groups. We focus on fieldwork strongly linked to the curriculum and work with Primary to A Level age groups. Our Admin Office has five staff based in it; yourself, another Senior Administrator, House and Catering Manager, Site Maintenance Manager and Centre Assistant. You'll be working closely with the other Senior Administrator and the House and Catering Manager.

**What you will be doing**

Alongside the other Senior Administrator and the House and Catering Manager, you'll be liaising with schools and collating their medical and dietary information. Extensive use of Microsoft programmes and data bases will be required, further training of which is possible.
Bedroom allocating can be a challenge with an old house like Leeson; you'll be assisting the House and Catering Manager with this task and sometimes helping with 'checking in' arriving groups.
We're imminently looking at getting much of our data online which will aid both our staff and visiting schools. Our new Senior Administrator will play a critical role in helping us to develop this new system.
Keeping on top of the finances of the Centre is vital, you'll be sharing this role with the other Senior Administrator as well as being supported by other staff from the Outdoor Education Service.
We're a busy centre, open all year round, 7 days a week. Very occasionally, you'll be asked to assist with, for example, the housekeeping team.

**About you**

We're looking for someone who is highly motivated and organised.
Suitably qualified as per the person specification.
Flexible enough to occasionally take on other tasks such as helping with moving the laundry.
Experienced with customer care.
Experienced with producing documents to a high standard.
Proven knowledge of a wide range of IT packages.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Able to demonstrate tact and sensitivity when dealing with customers.
Ability to build and sustain good working relationships with people at all levels, both internal and external.
The ability to understand the importance of outdoor education and the residential experience.
The ability and flexibility to work in a small, fun team.

**Additional information**

Enhanced children's DBS is required.
