Trainee Traffic Banksman

Abatec is currently seeking a **Trainee Traffic Banksman ** for our client based in Bedminster.

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe marshalling of all traffic movements on site, adhering to Health & Safety rules onsite.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely marshal and guide traffic in and out of the site, prioritizing safety at all times.
- Efficiently manage the gate, maintaining control of traffic movements.
- Keep the site clean and organized, creating a safe working environment.
- Provide assistance to trades on site as required, demonstrating your versatile skills.
- Manage the entrance to operational areas and ensure proper waste disposal.
- Exhibit strong communication and planning abilities to effectively coordinate tasks.
- Enforce PPE and Site Rules adherence among all personnel.
- Act as a reversing assistant to facilitate safe vehicle movements.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness for the site, vehicles, and equipment.

**About You**:

- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work effectively.
- Proficiency in both independent and team-oriented work, showing initiative when needed.
- Excellent communication skills for various situations.
- Experience or suitability for traffic management work.
- Willingness to learn and operate a computerized weighbridge (training will be provided).
- Openness to undergo mobile plant training as required.
