**Role Overview**:
As the Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing raw footage, adding visual effects and graphics, and ensuring the overall quality and cohesiveness of our video content. Your expertise in using the Adobe suite of apps, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects, will be essential in bringing our videos to life and engaging our audience. You will collaborate closely with the production team and other stakeholders to deliver compelling and visually appealing videos that align with our objectives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Production Lead, Video Lead and other team members to understand video requirements, objectives, and creative vision for each project.
- Edit raw footage into polished and visually compelling videos using Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Incorporate visual effects, motion graphics, and animations using Adobe After Effects to enhance video content and storytelling.
- Ensure a seamless and cohesive flow between video clips, audio, and visual elements, maintaining consistent pacing and engaging transitions.
- Select and edit music tracks, sound effects, and voice-overs to enhance the overall impact and emotional resonance of the videos.
- Colour grade and correct video footage to achieve desired visual aesthetics and maintain a consistent look and feel across videos.
- Collaborate with the production team to review and provide feedback on video drafts, making necessary adjustments and revisions based on input and guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new editing techniques, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the quality and impact of our video content.
- Organise and maintain an efficient video editing workflow, including file management, backups, and project organization.
- Ensure videos are optimised for various platforms and formats, adhering to best practices and technical specifications.
- Assist in creating and updating video templates and assets to streamline the editing process and maintain a consistent visual identity.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including videographers, graphic designers, and content creators, to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of videos.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in video editing and motion graphics.
- Proficiency in using video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro, with a solid understanding of editing techniques, colour grading, and audio mixing.
- Strong skills in motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects or similar software.
- Experience in selecting and editing music tracks, sound effects, and voice-overs to enhance storytelling and emotional impact.
- Knowledge of video formats, compression, and optimization techniques for various platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Familiarity with file organisation, backup strategies, and maintaining an efficient video editing workflow.
- Creative mindset with the ability to contribute ideas and solutions to enhance video content and storytelling.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide (and receive) constructive feedback.
- Knowledge of the running or sports industry is a plus, allowing for a better understanding of the target audience and content requirements.
