An exciting Temp-to-Perm opportunity has become available to work as an Accounts Assistant for a reputable client of Reed Middlesbrough, based in Stockton.

Looking to recruit someone on a part-time and permanent basis working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with a salary of £20,000 pro rata.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

- Send invoices/proforma’s to customers on time and accurately
- Banking and reconciliation of customer accounts
- Journals - check and assign the correct amounts to the correct departments and nominals codes
- Credit checks for all new and existing customers and suppliers
- Verify and set up new customer and supplier accounts
- Credit control - chasing customers as appropriate, keeping to timescales and sending reports to management
- Process authorised purchase invoices including expense forms & visa receipts
- Deal with transactions for the petty cash and ensure that reconciliations are completed weekly
- Preparing suppliers payments and CIS certificates
- VAT Reverse Charge for customers and suppliers where applicable
- Verify calculations and input codes into the Accounts system in an accurate manner
- To ensure all filing is done in a timely and accurate manner
- Deal with correspondence to and from clients and suppliers
- Reporting to HMRC
- Management Reports
- Month End Reports
- Any other ad hoc duties
