When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.

**THE ROLE**

This is an exciting role working with 2 Deputy Shop Managers and a volunteer team.
The position is offered for 21hrs per week to include Saturdays on a rota basis alongside the requirement to work flexibly with local shops when necessary. Working knowledge of Health & Safety and basic IT skills are essential.

Young Lives vs Cancer is open to and in support of flexible working. We are currently defining our approach to hybrid working. Your flexibility requirements and that of the role will be discussed at interview stage with you.

**ABOUT YOU**

We are looking for an experienced retail manager, who will show a passion and flair for retail and the ability to organise and get the most out of a volunteer team.

You will work with the Deputy Shop Managers to create plans to maximise income for the charity and will be able to demonstrate how you have worked in the community to promote a cause or an organisation. Organisational and delegation skills are vital to ensure consistency of operation when you are away from the shop.
