Based in South Shields, Corsetry and Couture has always prided itself on excellent service and quality bridalwear alterations and dressmaking.

Our team currently has over 65 years of combined experience leaving our clients confident that their gowns will be altered to the highest standard. Our talented seamstresses are specialists in altering, customising, and re-styling of bridal and evening wear.

Throughout the alterations process, our client's gowns should be treated with great care and, as one of our seamstresses, you will be happy to talk your bride through any concerns.

Main Responsibilities:

- Sewing and altering different styles of bridal gowns and other special occasion wear.
- Carry out alterations meeting Corsetry & Couture timing and quality standards.
- Must be flexible and available to work evenings and weekends
- At least 2 years proven experience bridal alterations and used to working with delicate fabrics.
- Ability to machine and hand sew to an exceptionally high standard
- Ability to work as part of a team and work under pressure.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Be able to complete work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a very high standard and finish.
- You should be creative, with a good eye for detail and feel confident discussing and offering design options for clients that require bespoke design changes.
- Ability to liaise with our clients in a friendly and professional manner.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 - 30 per week

**Salary**: £10.41 per hour
