The primary responsibility of the Welder is to TIG & MIG weld stainless steel component parts together in accordance with detailed drawings and within the set timelines.

What is on offer to the Welder
- A starting hourly rate of £13.39
- 7 am - 3.30 pm Mon - Thurs, 7.00 - 12 pm Friday (37 hour week)
- 28 days holiday rising to 33 days + 3 days Christmas leave

Key Accountabilities of the Welder
- Operate welding equipment, to weld stainless steel components together (the primary type of welding being TIG welding, but knowledge of MIG is desirable), to produce simple and complex items or other assemblies to form complete systems.
- Inspect welds for quality and ensure all assemblies meet the necessary requirements/standard.
- Work to a schedule, accurately, and in a timely manner, both on own initiative and simultaneously as part of a larger team.
- Operate other tools such as grinders and buffing machines.
- Flexible approach to tasks & working shifts to ensure targets are achieved.
- Valid UK driving license

Key Experience Required of the Welder
- Good level of academic achievement (ideally served apprenticeship)
- Previous experience of TIG welding is paramount for this role
- Previous experience of working within a fast-paced and often demanding production area
- Previous experience of welding filters or vessel would advantageous
- Proven planning and prioritising skills
- Understanding of design and engineering manufacturing procedures
