**About the role**:
The Deck OOW will work alongside the Master and Engineer OOW on board one of our well maintained landing crafts.

**About you**:
**Key skills, Experience & Competencies**:

- Previous Deck OOW experience
- STCW Certification is required
- Valid ENG 1
- MCA Certificates of Competence (or CeC)
- A keen interest and willingness to gain Master 500gt

**Main Responsibilities (list not exhaustive)**
- Ensuring that the Company’s Safety Management System is adhered to at all times
- Safe navigation and conduct of the vessels in all respects when Navigating Officer of the Watch
- Loading, discharging and stowage of the cargo and maintenance of such during the voyage with regard to the vessel’s strength, stability and cargo characteristics
- Assisting with maintaining the updating of nautical publications and charts as required
- Carrying out the responsibilities and emergency duties as required
- Carrying out maintenance and greasing/conservation work
- Cleaning work on deck and the accommodation areas as required
- Crane operations
- Perform cargo loading/discharge duties as directed by the Master

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as an Officer of the Watch or similar role is required
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential
- Ability to analyze complex situations and make quick decisions

We offer competitive compensation and benefits package for this position. The work location will be on board our vessel, operating in various locations.

**Salary**: £36,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
