Sellick Partnership is currently working with a rapidly expanding business, to recruit a Head of Cash and Banking.
Our hugely exciting, dynamic client has recently undergone a period of positive change after a number of high-profile acquisitions; and is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, detailed individual to provide strong controls and processes across cash, bankingand treasury.
Reporting into the Finance Operations Director, this role will inherit a team within a changing business and will need to guide and implement a "best practice" approach across the department.

The purpose of this Head of Cash and Banking is to oversee and continuously develop all processes and controls related to cash, banking, and credit card transactions, whilst guiding, coaching and mentoring a team.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Understand and map existing transactional controls and processes and successfully identify and implement improvements across group
- Work alongside process owners to coach and educate owners and team on best practice relating to operating processes independently
- Identify risks in controls and processes and liaise with stakeholders across the group to minimise potential risks
- Oversee processes for reconciliation of numerous international bank accounts, ensuring process is accurate and streamlined
- Align processes of newly acquired international entities with local processes, integrating entities effectively
- Build relationships across the business to ensure standardisation of controls and processes and provide visibility to Finance and Operations Director
- Opportunity to be involved in ERP system implementation across the group

**The ideal Financial Controller**:
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or have come from a similar role. Experience within a shared service centre or large business environment, implementing and improving controls and processes across a business, and involvementin system implementation are essential for this role.

The successful individual will have an eye for detail and have a hands-on approach. Interpersonal or "soft skills" are essential in this role in mentoring and coaching the team and building relationships across the business. Previous experience in usingS4 HANA is advantageous but not essential.
