JOB TITLE: Relationship Director, Real Estate

LOCATION(S): Sheffield, Bradford, Huddersfield, or Leeds

HOURS: Full Time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, in the office.

About this opportunity

We're passionate about looking after our customers. Are you? If so, we have a great opportunity for a Relationship Director to join our highly successful North East Real Estate team supporting property investors and developers along with housing associations.

You'll support clients with all their banking needs including lending, deposits and a wide range of other services and manage a portfolio of approximately 60 SME Groups based in and around South Yorkshire. There is an expectation to grow the portfolio, by attracting high value clients, through becoming the go to banking professional within your local community.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing excellent service to our clients, putting them at the heart of what you do, adding value at every interaction and becoming a “trusted advisor”.
- Promoting the bank with professionals and key influencers through your knowledge of the local market.
- Providing a range of funding solutions to our clients from our Term Lending, CGFI, PAL’s and Development funding product range tailoring them to Client needs
- Building relationships with Group Partner companies and through them bring the whole bank to the client delivering products to meet their needs.
- Handling the risk and compliance of your client portfolio.
- Active engagement in local & regional activities. Developing your own capability and taking responsibility for supporting senior management in progression of your team.

- Highly proficient at building and maintaining productive relationships with external professionals and adept at winning good volumes of higher value new client relationships.
- Specialist credit and sector knowledge along with a track record delivering excellent client experiences whilst identifying ways to grow income, balance sheet and market share and handling associated risks.
- Experience growing business and delivering results, whilst readily accepting change.
- A growth mindset and be keen to adopt and use key tools that enhance the client experience and demonstrate the value a Face-to-Face Relationship Manager brings to a client’s business.
- Environmental Awareness with the confidence to promoting the bank’s image through strong ethics & integrity across a range of clients, prospects & professionals.
