Assistant Groundsman

A Private Equestrian Farm is recruiting for assistant groundsmen to work within the Godalming area. Assisting in maintaining the grounds of the estate and supporting the equestrian facility operations and accommodation. We are looking for individuals with good communication and organisational skills, happy to work within a team or solo and with good knowledge of machinery operation.

With a mixed year of summer and winter jobs around the farm, this would suit somebody who has experience as a groundsman, but is also able to help with ongoing maintenance and small improvement projects to the facilities.

Salary based on experience.

5 day week including minimum 1 day at the weekend.

**Day to day role includes**:
grass keeping,

fencing,

machinery operation,

supporting equestrian facility operations,

building maintenance

**Basic Skills Required**
- Essential: Full Clean Driving license
- Essential: Grounds Maintenance Experience
- Essential: Associated Machinery Operation eg tractors & mowers
- Desirable: Chainsaw maintenance & crosscutting licence
- Desirable: PA1 & PA6 Certificates
