Overview:
We are seeking skilled to join our Steel Fixer team. you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the construction and installation of structural steel components. This is a physically demanding role that requires experience in masonry, heavy lifting, and the use of power tools. **Responsibilities**:

- Install and assemble structural steel components according to blueprints and specifications
- Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and weld steel beams, columns, and other structural elements
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding and temporary structures as needed
- Perform heavy lifting and rigging operations to move steel components into position
- Ensure proper alignment and fit of steel components during installation
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as carpenters and welders, to complete projects on time
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on the job site

**Experience**:

- Previous experience
- Proficiency in masonry techniques for securing steel components
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of power tools used in metalworking and construction
- Familiarity with welding techniques for joining steel components
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance is beneficial

We offer competitive pay based on experience and skills. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career advancement.

Pay: £18.00-£25.00 per hour
