**Flux Pumps International (UK) Ltd**

All Flux pumps and motors are manufactured at our dedicated factory near Stuttgart, Germany. We supply pumps and flow meters for almost any fluid - water, oils, solvents, flammable liquids, food and pharmaceutical products. Our extensive range of products is suitable for transfer, emptying, mixing, filling and metering. Key industries served include manufacturing, surface finishing, paints & lacquers, petrochemical, foods, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, water treatment & agriculture.

The Flux range is centred on the fully serviceable F400 series barrel & IBC pumps. We also manufacture the CombiFlux battery operated container pump - the World's first battery pump with heavy-duty brushless motor for industrial use. Other products include air or electric operated one-touch filling systems, air operated diaphragm pumps, hygienic pumps and eccentric worm-drive pumps for handling high viscosity fluids. Plus ViscoFlux drum emptying systems for products that do not flow readily, eg. tomato paste or cosmetic cream. Accessories include hoses, dispense nozzles, flow meters and IBC mixers.

Flux products conform to all major standards, eg. EC machinery directive, 3A, FDA, GS, UL, CSA and ATEX directive for explosion-hazardous areas.

**The Role**

We have an exciting opportunity to join our small, friendly team. The role is primarily an office-based position reporting to the UK Director and will require a high degree of IT knowledge technical aptitude, as well as an ability to communicate at all levels. Training will be provided in the UK and at our factory in Germany.

Remote working is not permitted for this role.

**Responsibilities**
- Gain detailed knowledge of our ProAlpha ERP system.
- Manage outsourced electrical, fabrication and welding work and ensure orders/projects are delivered on time.
- Specify and design custom parts as required.
- Use CAD software to produce drawings of parts and pump systems.
- Set up new part numbers and suppliers in ERP system.
- Place orders with suppliers.
- Assist with stock control and planning, using Microsoft Excel.
- Communicate with customers regarding repairs.
- Occasionally handle sales enquiries and provide quotes to customers.

**Skills and Experience**
- Ideally qualified to HND / degree level, but not essential.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in full-time employment in a similar technical support role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a key requirement for the role.
- Ability to challenge and question, in order to ultimately satisfy the customer’s needs.
- Possess strong IT administration skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel in particular) is essential.
- Mechanical / electrical design or engineering experience beneficial.
- Vision and drive to implement change and bring efficiency improvements.
- Desire to succeed and help profitably grow the business.

**Working Hours**

8.30 - 17:15 Mon-Thurs with 30 minutes for lunch, 8.30 - 13.00 on Friday (37.5 hrs per week).

**Working Environment**

The role is primarily based at our Verwood office, however, there may occasionally be a requirement to travel to within the UK, or abroad.
