Granville Academy joined The de Ferrers Trust in 2017. We are a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We consist of 3 Secondary Academies and 4 Primary Academies.

Due to promotion of the current Vice Principal, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior leader to help shape the future of Granville Academy by leading on the Quality of Education across the academy.

Within the role you will oversee effective implementation of the strategy to secure creative and inspiring teaching. You will support the programme of teachers’ professional development which includes effective coaching.

You will lead on quality assurance at all levels across the academy to ensure the highest of standards are upheld that support good outcomes from all stakeholders.

Within this quality assurance process, you will hold the strategic responsibility for ensuring all the children and young people in our care have the opportunity to fulfil their potential through achieving highly, regardless of their ability or background with a particular focus on the disadvantaged strategy to support good progress and attainment.
- Be a current Vice Principal or Assistant Principal with current whole school responsibilities and experience
- Be experienced at successfully leading, managing, and developing a range of teams (including middle leaders)
- Be an outstanding and inspirational teacher who brings their personality and style to the classroom whilst upholding the academy values ‘work hard, be kind, choose wisely’
- Be committed to their own professional development
- Play a leading and highly visible role in the day-to-day management of the academy ensuring both the academic and pastoral success of all students across all faculty areas.
