- **We have a fantastic opportunity for an Estimator to join our team in Manchester, providing estimates and securing orders through innovative and competitive solutions.**_

**What you will be doing**:

- Delivering accurate cost estimates with practical and workable solutions, maximising the profitability of obtaining targeted contracts.
- Identifying, targeting and converting new opportunities.
- Contributing to financial/commercial processes in bids and tenders.
- Preparing accurate quotes.
- Building and maintaining key relationships with customers.
- Producing creative and competitive solutions to customer requirements, ensuring estimates are accurate and comply with company requirements and procedures.
- Providing innovative solutions and seeking continuous improvement to processes.
- Ensuring tenders are followed up with contractors to maximise the probability of obtaining targeted contracts.
- Reviewing quotes and devising a strategy to strengthen the Company's position for each quote.
- Assisting senior management in monitoring and reporting on market pricing and competitor activity.
- Evaluating reasons for lost bids and reporting on/feeding back as required.
- Attending negotiations and pre-contract handover meetings.
- Preparing and delivering high standard presentations to customers as required.
- Liaising with the design and operations teams on technical and operational requirements, providing briefings to the operations team and any information required once the job has commenced.
- Supporting and promoting a team culture and Company values.

- Excellent and effective communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
