**This is an 18 month fixed term contract, working full time, 37 hours per week, based in Bradford with lots of flexibility for homeworking 2-3 days a week.**

Here at Yorkshire Water we have a fantastic opportunity within our Brand and Communications Team for a Campaigns Advisor to join us on a temporary basis (18 months duration). It’s an exciting time to join the team as the demand for us to create campaigns that will influence the way customer’s think and behave has never been more important.

Our campaigns are a fantastic way for us to communicate important messages to our customers and each campaign has a strategy behind it that will help us deliver on some of our key business objectives. As Campaigns Advisor you’ll work with different teams across the business to understand their key objectives and you’ll develop strategies, build plans and deliver campaigns that will engage customers and help influence their behaviours and attitudes to all things Yorkshire Water.

**What does the role involve?**

As Campaigns Advisor, you’ll be responsible for the effective delivery of campaign activity across all audiences. You’ll work with your peers and the Brand manager to develop strategies and campaign plans that will deliver customer and colleague campaigns to meet our business objectives.

You’ll have excellent communication skills as you build relationships with people internally and externally allowing you to work seamlessly together so you can drive and deliver excellent customer campaigns. You’ll be able to naturally present and articulate details about the campaign as and when needed and you’ll also be able to manage these relationships to ensure deadlines, budgets and objectives are met.

Using your knowledge and experience in marketing and advertising, you’ll make recommendations on campaign strategy, behaviour change models, channel selection and creative execution. Working with our external creative agencies, you’ll come up with new and exciting ways to deliver meaningful content and experiences that customers can truly connect with.

You’ll be confident at reporting on campaign performance and KPI’s. You’ll work with external marketing agencies to make sure our campaigns are performing to their full potential and can drive and implement changes if they’re not. You’ll make sure that our campaigns are being reported on consistently across multiple agencies and you’ll need to be able to translate campaign/media reports into something meaningful for colleagues within the business who aren’t used to typical marketing jargon.

With the possibility of multiple projects and campaigns running simultaneously, you’ll need to have excellent organisational skills and be able to manage and prioritise workload accordingly.

Not forgetting, you’ll have a creative flair to come up with the best and most engaging ways to communicate our messages to customers, colleagues and stake holders and have the confidence to share your ideas with colleagues and agencies to bring these ideas to life.

**Campaign responsibilities**:

- Accountability for the effective delivery of campaign activity across all audiences.
- Develops campaign strategies with peers and Brand manager to support the strategic business objectives and achieve business critical objectives, for example: from education and awareness around water consumption and every day behaviours within our water saving campaigns to engaging with specific customer groups to raise awareness of the services and help we offer them..
- Works with key internal stakeholders to understand requirements and develop campaign plans, giving advice on best practice and strategic approach
- Generates and drives the production of creative ideas while making sure any collateral or advertising that is produced is within the brand guidelines and suitable for the target audience. Developing great ideas to bringing business issues to life and works with the agency and in-house studio to deliver these ideas across multiple channels.
- Brings teams and individuals together to deliver cross functional projects - ensuring clear roles and responsibilities and project plans are in place and setting clear expectations of individuals within these teams
- Challenges the ‘norm’ and can proactively suggest innovative ways of doing things to meet the ever changing needs of our customers.

Measurement, evaluation and customer insight:

- Develops effective monitoring and measurement for projects by ensuring results are recorded, tracked and monitored consistently
- Proactively analyses results and data to find trends and patterns that can inform our strategy for future projects and how we utilise our budget in the right way.
- Communicates results and insight to the relevant stakeholders in a way that is understandable to those not so familiar with marketing jargon
