Based at Hail Weston, near St Neots in Cambridgeshire you will be joining a team responsible for initiating sales leads and selling our HeatingSave Building Energy Management System to businesses and the public sector throughout the UK. HeatingSave is Government approved Building Management System that cuts energy bills. Current demand is high from all types of organisations due to the Energy Crisis.

After the initial training period your job will be:

- Contact prospective customers, existing customers and generate your own leads and to visit sites, determine the size and type of HeatingSave system required and quote the customer. To then maintain customer contact to obtain a customer order.
- Be aware of additional opportunities to sell more Tensor products and services and add these to the Tensor portfolio to you sell to the customer.
- Maintain subsequent customer contact to extend their HeatingSave system and find other HeatingSave opportunities within groups of businesses and similar entities.

We will train you on new products as they become available so that you have a complete portfolio to offer customers. We will also provide the support and encouragement to help you to succeed.

Sales Consultants are expected to travel to any part of the UK and Ireland, although most of the work is within England. They must have a technical/engineering background or understanding, be professional, keen, enthusiastic people who have the energy and ability to win orders for HeatingSave.

**The Company**:
Tensor plc is a world-class medium sized company who design and manufacture a range of eco control Building Management Systems (BMS), including boiler and solar heating controllers and Smart Card and Biometric security products. We have developed a number of “world firsts” and are recognised as a leader in our field. Today we are a global organisation where research and design activity remains a top priority and this will keep us in a lead position for years to come.

Applicants must:

- Have a proven sales track record or a technical role with a strong desire to move into field sales.
- Have a technical/engineering qualification, background or similar experience.
- Be hard working, proactive and self-motivated.
- Have a good technical knowledge of PC’s and IT infrastructure and web environment
- Have good personal skills in dealing with people.
- Hold a current driving license.

**The Reward**:
Salary comprises a basic retainer of £25,000 per annum plus 7% of all qualified sales. Your expected OTE should be in excess of £50,000 p.a. There is no upper cap or limit. Some of our sales consultants earn in excess of £100,000 p.a.

You will also have a car, mobile phone, laptop computer, etc. with 28 days’ annual leave incl. Bank/Public Holidays + Company pension scheme available. Additional annual leave achievable.
