**Role Purpose**:
This hands-on role as Personnel Security Controller will work closely with the ISG Security Controller and ISG management as well as with other internal and external specialists (including information technology, consultants and suppliers) to ensure Personnel Security including Vetting comply with Government standards.

**Key Accountabilities**:
The primary responsibility for the Personnel Security Lead will be the strategic development of an effective personnel security culture within the company and the day to day management and delivery of personnel security policy, procedures, risk assessment, management and general security processes.

**Other key responsibilities include**:
The implementation of the National Security Vetting aftercare within the company and any subordinate organisations that the company provides sponsorship for.
Liaising with HR and Welfare organisations within the company as necessary.
Liaising with the Security Controller on Personnel security issues and co-ordinating the response to these issues.
Assure ISG's personnel security business processes are compliant with relevant legislation, and that the company operates according to the principles embedded in relevant government standards
Interpreting, implementing and monitoring security controls for the appropriate maintenance of personnel security for National Security Vetted staff either in the employment of the company or subcontractor.
Assessment and agreement with companies within the Network to ensure that appropriate controls are present for Vetting Sponsor responsibilities to be discharged effectively

**Skills and Experience**:
The Personnel Security Lead will ideally be an experienced security professional ideally with understanding of the HMG vetting requirements and BPSS processes and Personnel security.

HMG (Her Majesty's Government) security policy, JSP 440, DCPP etc
Personnel Security
Working with the Security Controller to setup integrated personnel security management across ISG and it's projects.
Setting up and delivering an awareness and training regime to ISG Staff
