**Position Purpose**

The Shipping Assistant is responsible for ensuring that stock / products are packed, wrapped, and allocated to the correct pallets as per the picking list order. When required, the Shipping Assistant will provide additional support to the wider logistics function.

**Responsibilities**
- Working closely within the logistics team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of kits and parts to site
- Pack and prepare products for delivery using forklift and overhead crane
- Locate, prepare and move allocated stock to pallets as per the picking order list
- Shrink wrapping pallets when completed, ensuring that goods are protected and secure
- Data entry onto the internal systems, ensuring that the products are tracked accordingly
- Manual lifting, when required, of stock throughout the workshop
- Any other duties as assigned by the Line Manager

**Skills Required**:

- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office systems
- Forklift Counterbalance / Reach license
- Be able to perform manual lifting of stock and products
- Driving license
- Epicor - desirable not essential
- Previous experience working within a factory / manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in a lone / team capacity
