Working within the Domestic Services Department you will undertake a variety of housekeeping/cleaning duties. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment or working within a healthcare setting would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team and good communication skills are essential.
You should be physically fit, understand the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare environment and be flexible in extenuating circumstances in regard to areas worked within the North Sector sites where priorities can change due to staffing and activity. Full training will be provided.
Due to hours being as and when required to cover leave, especially in the areas of Kilbirnie, Dalry, Beith, you should be aware of these clinic locations.
It is compulsory that any new staff to Ayrshire and Arran complete Corporate Induction followed by local induction.
