The role of Topside Supervisor will provide a great opportunity for growth and challenge in an ever-evolving industry.

The Topside Supervisor will be responsible for offshore and onshore field operations, organising and managing team members, equipment and materials, ensuring operations are delivered safely and line with procedures.

**Job Description Duties Include**:
**Key Work Areas**:

- Attend, participate in pre-job briefs, take receipt of the Job Pack and ensure work-scope is fully understood
- Ensure questions or potential operational issues are fully discussed with Operations and/or Engineering personnel
- Read, participate and/or lead Risk Assessments and Method Statement.
- Assist with equipment mobilisation and certification checks
- Brief team members on scope of work at the work site - Review Risk Assessments and carry out Tool Box Talks
- Organise the team and plan work to complete the job safely under permit to work system, within the time allocated and to the required standard
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members at all stages of the job
- Undertake routine problem-solving on-site, referring more complex problems to the Subsea Operations Manager
- Supervise the tasks and duties of all subsea personnel on site
- Ensure all field paperwork and customer documentation is completed accurately
- Ensure good communications and working relationships are established and maintained with client site representatives and that the team represents Paradigm in a positive and professional manner
- Maintain close communication with Operations and Engineering teams to keep track of progress
- On completion of project, ensure all equipment is accounted for, prepares shipping manifests
- Attend, participate in de-mob briefings, provide appropriate input to close-out reports
- Identify potential business opportunities on-site and promote the company’s services at every opportunity
- To undertake any other duties as may be reasonably requested by line manager

**Qualifications/Experience Required**
- Considerable experience in the operation of Paradigm’s and other equipment
- Experience of supervising/managing teams - offshore or onshore
- Offshore training - Survival, medical, MIST
- IOSH Managing Safely certificate
- Training/certification in:
- IRATA Rope Access level 1
- Water Jetting
- HP Jetting pumps
- Deluge systems - Inspection, Wet Testing, Re-inhibiting, Remediation / Pipe Replacement
- Manual Handling
- COSHH Awareness
- Environmental awareness

Risk Assessments

**Key Skills/Competencies**
- Computing skills - Word and Excel
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of people - internally and external
- Proven ability to identify solutions to technical/operational problems in a wide range of environments, including offshore
