Join Our Team as a Nursery SEN TA

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated Nursery SEN TA to join our team and provide invaluable support to children who require additional assistance.

What We Are Looking For:

- Compassion and empathy towards children with SEN, fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
- A proactive approach to supporting the individual needs of each child, adapting strategies to suit their unique requirements.
- Experience or a keen interest in working within an educational setting, particularly with young children.

What We Require:

- Relevant qualifications or experience working with children with SEN, such as a Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance, ensuring suitability to work with vulnerable individuals.
- Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the nursery environment.
- Flexibility and resilience to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the children and the nursery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Providing one-to-one support to a child with SEN, assisting them with their learning and development goals.
- Implementing tailored strategies and interventions to support the child's communication and language development.
- Collaborating with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and other professionals to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and track progress.
- Supporting the child during sensory activities, social interactions, and transitions throughout the nursery day.
- Will need to give general class support to a child with a learning delay.

We work with a variety of stakeholders across all education sectors, from recruiting a Nursery Nurse to support in a pre-school setting, through to a Science Teacher to deliver A-level Physics, and everything in between

Pay: £75.00-£100.00 per day
