Senior Buyer

Providing day-to-day support to sourcing and procurement activities, managing routine procurement tasks, and supporting strategic initiatives or projects.
- Taking a lead role in the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from sourcing to contract negotiation, execution, and ongoing Supplier Performance and Relationship Management.
- Developing innovative, business-winning solutions by challenging conventional thinking and contracting.
- Managing and influencing internal stakeholders across the business.
- Negotiating on existing and new contracts to ensure the best cost and service to the business.
- Supporting the delivery of key projects and leading projects solely.
- Ensuring a professional and effective business relationship with suppliers.

Your skills and experiences: Essential:

- Demonstrable track record of Indirect Procurement/Commercial acumen.
- Contract management experience.
- Multi-site procurement and stakeholder management experience.
- Experience in a complex supply chain environment, such as large retailers, oil & gas, aerospace, automotive, nuclear, etc.

Desirable:

- Software category management experience.
