An exciting new role has emerged from a leading legal and business consulting firm who are seeking a Senior Commercial Paralegal to join them on a permanent basis in London.

**Your New Role**:
Exciting opportunity to join a small company with big responsibility gains. Duties not limited too but can include:

- Managing the drafting, reviewing and negotiation of commercial agreements and other legal documents tailor to the business’ needs.
- Responsible for the progression of a contractual matter from beginning to end. This includes populating and checking template contracts and template letters (including NDAs, head of terms, MOUs).
- Undertaking a critical review of low to medium complexity contracts, commercial terms and conditions and other legal documents.
- Identifying contractual and practical risks and liabilities and proposing mitigation strategies, providing possible courses of actions, and understanding risks and consequences.
- Assist with contract and document management system creating, implementation, and operation. Maintain database of contract templates and approved alternative.
- Support corporate governance functions, including maintaining and updating filings and registrations.
- Archiving/filing of contractual documents.
- Assisting the Legal team with day-to-day legal queries (including responding to employment queries, and other business queries).
- Managing business’ expectations regarding options, the range of possible outcomes and risks.

**About You**:

- Law degree or equivalent qualification.
- At least 4 years Commercial Paralegal experience, preferably from within a start-up/in-house environment with a small team.
- Confident in your commercial drafting abilities and skills is a must.
- Have a commercial mindset, happy with liaising with clients directly.
- Need to have a can-do attitude and receptive to growth and new ideas, finding different focuses exhilarating.
