Personal Assistant

I am an elderly gentleman living at home in Innerleithen looking for someone to support me at home

with personal care tasks on a Tuesday morning and at lunchtime to allow me to live at home as

independently as possible.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**

**Morning - 30 minutes**
- I will need you to please come in to assist me with having a wash and getting into some

clean clothes for the day.
- Please then support me with preparing my breakfast and hot drink of choice.
- Please ensure I have taken my morning medication.
- Finally, please check to see if there is anything else I require before leaving.

**Lunch - 30 minutes**
- Please come in to support me with heating up my lunch - there will normally be a meal left

by my daughter which will just need to be heated up but if not, please support me in

preparing something for my lunch.
- Please ensure I have taken my lunchtime medication.
- Finally, please check to see if there is anything else I require before leaving.

**Tea - 30 minutes (Wednesday and Thursday only)**
- Please come in to support me with preparing my evening meal - this may be from scratch or

a meal left by my daughter which require heating up.
- Please ensure I have taken any teatime medication.
- Finally, please check to see if there is anything else I require before leaving.

**Personal attributes**

**Hours of work**
- Tuesday only - both morning and lunch visits required with additional Wednesday and

Thursday teatime visits.

**The terms**
- £11.00 per hour.
- 5.6 weeks annual leave calculated on a pro-rata basis.
