Nursery Nurse

Our client is seeking to appoint a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurses to join their friendly nursery based in New Malden, South West London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is caring, friendly and has experience of working with under 5’s.

**Person Specification**:
NVQ3 Childcare qualification or equivalent

Experience of working with children under 5 years of age

Good written and verbal communications

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)

Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)

**Some of the Nursery Nurse responsibilities will include**:

- Working with EYFS curriculum and planning exciting age appropriate activities
- To effectively work as part of a team
- Supporting children at sleep times and with personal care
- Key worker responsibilities, settling new children, maintaining children’s development records and planning next steps
- Building positive relationships with parents
- Working to nursery policy and procedures
- Attending parent’s evenings and open days as required
- Attending staff meetings and training as required
- Working 40 hours per week
