**Company Summary**:
Our client is an exciting, fast paced, growing technology company providing a range of services and systems to commercial airport, critical national infrastructure, and defence markets. They focus on forward thinking technologies and services including counter-drone(CUAS) systems, unmanned traffic management (UTM), synthetic environments, managed services, consultancy, and drone operations.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to lead our client and supply chain activities in established and emerging markets worldwide.

This role will be based in their offices in Reading RG7 with occasional travel to their clients’ sites as required; however as part of our commitment to flexible working, employees are able to work remotely. The ability to achieve and maintain UK SecurityClearance is a prerequisite for this role.

**More about the role**

Reporting to the Director Corporate and Commercial, we are looking for a commercially astute FM Procurement Manager who will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of critical contracts with their globally-recognised client organisations suchas Heathrow airport. The FM Procurement Manager will liaise closely with internal and external stakeholders, overseeing both opex expenditure and capex works, managing both upstream client expectations as well as downstream supply chain activities.

**Key job requirements include**:

- Contracting opex spend and capex works under relevant partnering and supply agreements
- Managing performance, variations, and claims
- Managing total cost of ownership, forecast expenditure, cash flow and cost reports
- Contracting opex spend and capex works with relevant supply chain partners, managing delivery and relationships
- Driving savings and achieving value for money through excellent contract management, supplier performance management, and relationship management
- Contract and commercial assurance throughout the contract lifecycle

**Experience, skills and attributes**:

- Significant contract management experience
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Supply chain management experience
- Client relationship management experience
- Finance reporting and commercial management experience

This role requires interpersonal skills to deal with a wider range of senior stakeholders both internally and externally. There will be a requirement to plan strategically and execute commercial and contractual negotiations and obligations in a professionalmanner with supporting facts and data.

The role will require the ability to present concepts, plans and recommendations to senior and executive level personnel.
