**Career Teachers** are recruiting a Behaviour Support/ Learning Support Assistant. Your role will be to focus is on empowering students to realise their personal and social potential. You must promote the pupils understanding that their experiences are relevant, their feelings validated and their contribution meaningful.

**Requirements of the position**:

- Promote the health and welfare of pupils
- Provide key worker support for students, including home-school visits
- To provide a warm caring and safe environment for children which encourages their physical, emotional and social growth, which reinforces appropriate behavioural norms.
- Ensure all recording is accurate by completing it promptly and in line with official procedures and guidelines.
- To ensure that all documentation relating to incidents of behaviour are recorded in line with school policy and procedure
- The day-to-day care and supervision of all children during school activities
- To provide during the school day activities that support and encourage higher levels of social skills and environment that positively reflects appropriate social norms

**Your daily duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Liaison with parents, carers, social workers and other professionals
- Monitoring Completion of risk assessments
- Reports for internal and external reviews.
- Health care appointments
- Completion of termly tracking documentation
- Provide pre-occupation with the student needs
- Home visits and holiday support
- Care planning
- Completion of behaviour management plans
- Maintain student working and main files

All quoted rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
