A fantastic opportunity to join a renowned independent school in Reading, as a Facilities / Compliance Administrator. If you have previous experience in Facilities or Compliance administration, fantastic interpersonal skills and are highly organised, seekinga new and exciting challenge then this may be the role for you.
This is a part time, permanent role and you will be expected to work 20 hours per week.
This role has wide ranging responsibilities and supports the Head of Estates and IT, and the Assistant Estates Manager.
Key duties include:
- Supporting the maintenance of the school buildings, facilities and grounds
- Updating the school policies
- Completing risk assessments to a recognised standard
- Maintaining records in line with legislation
- Managing and maintaining the COSHH register and ensuring that users are informed of the safety measure required
- Supporting with school events
Key skills / requirements:
- Previous experience working in a school
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent administrative skills
- Reliable
- Full driving licence
The appointment will be conditional on a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure and the person appointed will be required to work in accordance with the School's Policy for Child Protection.
