Are you looking for a new challenge in the events industry? We are recruiting for an Events Operations Assistant.

This is a hand on role, where you will be focussing on setting up rooms and event spaces to the standard required.

**Responsiblities**
- Oversee and deliver the changeover of events spaces and set ups based on plans provided by the Events and Programmes team.
- Work alongside appointed service providers and contractors to duty manage live events; this will include serving food and drink and clearing away
- Start of day walk arounds and checks, ensuring quality of visitor experience across the site (i.e., cleanliness of events space, equipment availability; crockery and cutlery provision etc.) and that WIFI, signage and building features are in working order.
- Supervision of Zero Hours Workers and agency staff where necessary.
- Training and development of direct reports.
- Taking delivery of hired equipment and materials for use during events.
- To arrange for the provision of catering and refreshments from our nominated supplier.
- Ensuring that events are planned and serviced to optimum levels with exceptional attention to detail.
- Work behind and supervise the bar operation including cashing up at the end of each shift.
- Ensure that there is sufficient cleaning and security provisions to support each event.

Salary is depending on experience, and you will need to be able to work flexible hours that are changeable, as this could be a 7am start or a late night i.e., 11.30pm/12am, and this includes weekends.
