Purchasing and Shipping Administrator

This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key part of 8th Wonder Ltd team based in Wigan.
**The Role**
- Raise Purchase Orders & receive deliveries in line with the plan.
- Track / progress all PO's, maintain internal system, provide updates of all current orders.
- Work with our overseas teams, freight forwarders and our UK warehouse to manage the shipping process.
- Handle all paperwork for PO's, shipping and deliveries.
- Work with the sales team to ensure all customer delivery requirements are understood and fulfilled.
- Customer focused, comfortable contacting and updating customers.
- Work with the warehouse to maintain an accurate stock file.
- Work with other departments within the business to ensure a smooth and efficient flow through processes.
- Ownership for maintaining internal systems.
- Produce reports, help to monitor departmental KPI's.
- Provide support to other functions within the Supply Chain as required.
**The Person**
- Previous similar experience is advantageous.
- Freight and customs experience is desirable.
- Be self-motivated able to use own initiative to manage a varied workload and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good commercial awareness & ability to make logical decisions.
- Professional, confident and courteous manner, both written and phone.
- Numerate, accurate with ability to meet deadlines and targets.
- Organised, and strong administration skills.
- Good level of IT literacy, working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to plan and organise their own work to tight deadlines.
- Open to new challenges.
Salary dependent on experience.
