**Job Overview**:
As a Property Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep, repair, and overall maintenance of various properties. You will perform a wide range of tasks to preserve the functionality, safety, and aesthetics of the buildings and surrounding areas. This role requires a versatile individual with strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing electrical fixtures, plumbing systems, appliances and general maintenance tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or property management.
- Handle repairs for walls, floors, doors, windows, and other structural elements as needed.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialised repairs or services beyond in-house capabilities.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, expenses, and inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials and waste disposal.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of common areas, corridors, and other shared spaces.
- Support property improvement projects and renovations as directed by supervisors.

- Ability to manage a busy work load and be flexible on demand with property maintenance

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in property maintenance, building repair, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general repair techniques.
- Ability to use various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues.
- Good physical condition and stamina to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and working in various weather conditions.
- Solid organisational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with tenants, colleagues, and contractors.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record may be required.

**Working Conditions**:

- This position typically involves working both indoors and outdoors, exposed to various weather conditions.
- Physical demands include lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
- May require flexibility in working hours and availability for emergency maintenance calls.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,400.00-£30,000.00 per year
