**Position Overview**:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Drivers Mate to join our team. The Drivers Mate will work alongside our experienced delivery drivers to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of timber products to our valued clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of our operations and contribute to our continued success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the delivery driver with loading and unloading timber products onto and off the delivery vehicle.
- Safely secure timber products during transportation to prevent damage or loss.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by assisting with the placement of products at the customer's location.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and equipment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols and delivery guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members to ensure smooth delivery operations.

**Requirements**:

- Valid UK driver's license preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.

**Salary**: £6.40-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
